Uses

For the temporary relief of minor aches and pains of muscles and joints associated with simple backache, arthritis, strains, bruises, sprains.

Warnings

  • For external use only.
  • When using this product: use only as directed. Do not bandage tightly or use with a heating pad. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. Do not apply to wounds or damaged skin.
  • Stop use and ask a doctor if: condition worsens; symptoms persist for more than 7 days or clear up and occur again within a few days; redness is present; irritation develops.
  • If pregnant or breast-feeding, ask a health professional before use.
  • Keep out of reach of children. If swallowed, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away.

Directions

  • Adults and children 12 years and older: apply to affected area not more than 3 to 4 times daily.
  • Children 2 to 12 years: ask a doctor before use.
  • Children under 2 years: do not use.
  • Wash hands after applying.

Other information

  • Store at room temperature, 59 to 86 F (15 to 30 C). Keep lid closed. Balm may soften in heat and firm again when cooled; this does not affect the product.

What does it help with?
For the temporary relief of minor aches and pains of muscles and joints associated with simple backache, arthritis, strains, bruises, sprains.
Where should I apply it?
Anywhere you have a minor ache in a muscle or joint: knees, hands, elbows, shoulders, lower back, calves. A pea-sized amount per knee is plenty. Avoid eyes, broken skin, and mucous membranes.
How often can I use it?
Apply to the affected area not more than 3 to 4 times daily. If symptoms last more than 7 days, stop and ask a doctor.
Will it stain my clothes or paddle grip?
The base is coconut oil, beeswax, and shea, so it absorbs rather than sitting on top. Let it sink in for a minute before dressing. Beeswax balms can leave a faint mark on light fabric if applied heavily; it washes out.
